Celebrating a young woman rooted in faith, fueled by creativity and stepping boldly toward her future.
SUPPORT ANIYAAniya Olivia Kirkland is a talented, ambitious and artistic rising senior at Poly Prep Country Day School. Born to Malik and Nichole Kirkland, Aniya is the oldest of two children and a natural leader in both her school and local communities.
Aniya began formal dance training at just three years old and has been expressing herself through movement ever since. She has honed her skills as a dancer and choreographer at the Dwana Smallwood Performing Arts Center and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
Today, she continues to pursue her passion through Poly Prep’s Excellence in the Arts program and as a committed member of the school dance team.
Aspiring to work in Sports Management, Aniya is already putting her leadership and organizational skills into action as manager of Poly Prep’s boys’ varsity basketball team.
Her creativity extends beyond the stage. A gifted hairstylist and makeup artist, Aniya shares her talents through daily beauty vlogs and by styling family and friends. And when she is not creating, performing or leading, she loves exploring the world through travel — often taking pride in planning memorable family vacations.
Deeply rooted in her faith, Aniya is an active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Over the years, she has participated in the Youth Dance Team, Flag Ministry and Girl Scouts, and she remains devoted to applying her faith to her daily life.
Event details will be shared here soon.
The Jabberwock Cotillion is a scholarship program that develops leadership, character, self-awareness and social awareness through workshops and cultural activities. Aniya is honored to participate and invites family, friends, church community and supporters to be part of her journey.
Every contribution made on Aniya’s behalf supports her Jabberwock journey.
